Last week, Kanye West was hospitalized following a string of erratic live appearances that prompted the cancellation of the remaining Saint Pablo Tour dates. Today, a clip of Q-Tip sitting with Bloomberg Politics has surfaced, finding the A Tribe Called Quest frontman acknowledging his dear friend, labelmate and collaborator's troubling Trump endorsement at a San Jose show. Tip explains:
"I really care about that dude, but his remarks are something that require he and I have a real serious discussion"
It's easy to imagine Tip, an explicit influence on Ye's artistry, sitting his buddy down and having chat the way a parent might do for a misbehaving child, but let's hope that whatever discussion manifests takes into account that the man is clearly suffering and remains hospitalized at the moment (though he clearly could use a corrective course from a friend and colleague as grounded as Tip seems to be.)
