With a new album on the way and a freshly-released teaser EP in the book, De La Soul seems to have a whole lot in the oven. Today, their seemingly weekly gift-giving heroics continue with the arrival of an unreleased De La Soul Is Dead studio outtake "Sho Nuff," which was produced by Posdnuos and shared this morning as a toast to the groundbreaking album's 25th year in rotation.

It's a rare glimpse into the magic that went into their sophomore album (this writer's personal favorite of their legendary catalogue,) but really, serves as a warm-up for their anxiously anticipated ninth studio album, And the Anonymous Nobody, which just received a firm release date, arriving on August 26th as a self-released and crowdfunded album. You can stream and download "Sho Nuff" down below, but to continue the celebration (or mourning, depending on you eye-view) you can visit two separate memorial locations in NYC; one at 37th Street and 8th Avenue, the other at Russel Simmons' old Rush Management office at 289 Elizabeth Street,) where vigils are currently taking place. If you've yet to take in the new styles from De La Soul, jump back to peep their surprise For Your Pain & Suffering EP.
