Missy Elliott And Busta Rhymes Are Rap Coaches In New Super Bowl Ad

With the Super Bowl around the corner commercials for the annual football event are beginning to pop up, such as this one from Doritos and Mountain Dew.

The minute-long clip finds rappers Missy Elliott and Busta Rhymes teaching actors Morgan Freeman and Peter Dinklage, respectively, the art of rapping tongue twisters. As you might expect the classic “How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood” is included.

The full ad, presumably a rap battle between Freeman and Dinklage, is set to premiere during the game.

This year’s Super Bowl will be between the Philadelphia Eagles and the New England Patriots, with a live performance from Justin Timberlake. Last year, Timberlake spoke on returning to the Super Bowl, saying: “What I really want to do is take the opportunity to put together a performance that feels like it unifies. I feel like that would be the ultimate accomplishment, and then the icing on the cake is at some point, within that 12 minutes, that everybody is shaking their booty.”

Recently, he also spoke on the controversy of his past Super Bowl performance with Janet Jackson, and how the two have made peace since the incident.

“…I don’t know that a lot of people know that,” he said. “I don’t think it’s my job to do that because you value the relationships that you do have with people.”
