Last year, Compton rapper Buddy dropped his debut album Harlan & Alondra. It was one of the better rap albums to drop in 2018.

What will Buddy's 2019 look like? We caught a glimpse. Buddy appeared on NPR's Tiny Desk, becoming the first rapper to perform for the concert series in 2019. The young rapper did four songs from his Harlan & Alondra album: "Legend," "Trouble On Central," "Hey Up There," sans Ty Dolla $igns, and "Real Life Shit."

According to NPR, before performing "Hey Up There," the Compton-rapper lit up a blunt, which is hilarious. NPR had to stop the show and Buddy had to rerecord his "Hey Up There" performance.
