Star Wars goes full Mad Max in the first trailer for Disney+'s new series.
Disney+ has begun to unveil its opening day line-up. And their Jon Favreau-directed Star Warsseries, The Mandalorian, was very naturally at the top of its rotation.
Along with the reveal, the soon-to-be-streaming giant dropped the first trailer for the anxiously-awaited spin-off, plunging the franchise into what Favreau described as "the darker, freakier side of Star Wars, the Mad Max aspect of Star Wars,” in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.
According to The AV Club, the series is slated to premiere on the November 12th launch of Disney+, along with the live-action Lady and The Tramp remake, a Christmas comedy with Anna Kendrick and Bill Hader, The World According to Jeff Goldblum, and a High School Musical series.
And it'll make for a helluva Rise of The Skywalker placeholder, as the trilogy closer arrives on December 20th.
