The nominees for the 83rd annual Golden Globes have been announced, with Sinners and One Battle After Another earning a wide variety of nominations. Both were nominated in the top categories, including Best Picture, Best Actor and Best Screenplay. In the TV categories, HBO's The White Lotus led with six nominations. The Golden Globes also unveiled a new podcasting category this year.
Marlon Wayans and Matlock star Skye P. Marshall announced the nominees for the Golden Globes.
In the film acting categories, Cynthia Erivo (Wicked: For Good), Chase Infiniti and Teyana Taylor (One Battle After Another) are nominated, and Tessa Thompson scored a nod for her performance in the period piece, Hedda. Dwayne Johnson (The Smashing Machine) and Michael B. Jordan (Sinners) are also nominated. As for the television actor categories, Ayo Edebiri (The Bear), Sterling K. Brown (Paradise) and Rashida Jones (Black Mirror) all landed nominations.
The ceremony will again be hosted by comedian Nikki Glaser, and the show will take place on Jan. 11, airing on CBS and Paramount+.
