With Maxwell’s new album just days away at this point, the soul crooner is just firing at will with the new music – not mad at all. Today, we get a listen to track #5 off of blackSUMMERS’night, “Fingers Crossed.” The lyric video shows Maxwell’s raw emotion in a different form as a sign language interpreter takes center stage in this one (though the brother busts out some dance moves as well). Yet another gem we can look forward to enjoying this coming Friday. Video directed by Julian Schratter and Maxwell (starring Warren “Wawa” Snipe). blackSUMMERS’night will be out Friday July 1st (pre-order). Check out Maxwell’s upcoming tour dates, below.
