Jill Scott turned out the season-opening episode of Vh-1's Storytellers last night and turned it into a one-woman show, switching wigs and filling in between peak performances of her most powerful songs with examples of her poetry, acting chops and her own extremely self-aware insights on the stated theme: "It takes many women to make one woman."
