Ari Lennox just released two new tracks, “40 Shades of Choke” and “Grampa.”
The Dreamville singer’s vintage, raspy tone complements the soft, soulful arrangements of both songs. The 27-year-old artist penned The MELO-X produced “40 Shades of Choke,” touching on love and lust, while “Grampa,” produced by Elite, pairs groovy live instrumentation to the tune of desire and distance.
Over the summer, Lennox released the Ryan Doubiago-directed video for her single, “Whipped Cream.” The Washington DC native first gained attention through her EP, PHO, in late 2016.
