Blood Orangeaka Dev Hynes will be performing in Los Angeles, CA at the Theater at the Ace Hotel on August 24th (and 25th). The show begins at 9:30 PM Pacific Time. The performance will be live streamed on Tidal. Hynes, who just released Freetown Sound earlier this summer, will perform the entire album for the first time ever during the show/live stream. Dev Hynes is also in the news today for his gripe with The Guardian. It all started back in 2013, when Hynes' apartment caught on fire, his dog dying and his possessions going up in flames in the process. The Guardian then posted an insensitive article criticizing Hynes for having a crowd sourcing fundraiser to raise money to replace the items lost in the fire. The article was originally titled “Dev Hynes’s puppy sob story has left me burnt out.” The beef has escalated even further today with news that Hynes has been kicked off the cover of The Guardian Guide. But beef aside, get ready for Wednesday August 24th's live stream.
