We should have expected something like this. With Bonnaroo setting off a massive music party in Tennessee this weekend, it's something of a foregone conclusion that illustrious musicians will be crashing each others' stages left and right, creating head-spinning collaborations in the heat of the muggy, southern moment. That's exactly what happened on Friday night when Kendrick Lamar and Chance the Rapper both joined funk legends Earth, Wind & Fire on stage by surprise, both MCs kicking freestyles that drove last night's crowd (and today's blogosphere) into a damn frenzy.

SZA was on hand to take in the scene, and posted a brief video of the madness to her personal Twitter account, and at press time numerous fan videos are slowly making their way online (not a lot of reception out there in 'Roo land, we're guessing).
