DJ Scratch applies his signature touch to a Nas classic with the arrival of "It Ain't Hard To Tell" (DJ Scratch Remix) from the ScratchMatic LP, dropping July 4th. The forthcoming Nas tribute project features classic Nas acapellas over original beats from DJ Scratch. The first single from the upcoming release, the "It Ain't Hard To Tell" remix spreads the lyrics from the Illmatic favorite across a thumping true school slapper that features a sample of Pharaohe Monch's stutter-stepping wordplay from the 1999 smash "Simon Says."
