Black Punk
You’ll recall a few years back NY emcee/professional skateboarder Black Dave, after putting out a number of successful hip-hop tapes, changed names and musical genres. He went from Black Dave to Black Punk and began shifting his music from rap to Punk. Well that wasn’t just a one-off, Black Punk is back today with two new joints produced by Grammy winner Tim Armstrong of Rancid, Transplants, and Operation Ivy Fame. Black Punk comes through with “WTF You Gonna Do” and “Punk Rock Tupac,” the former being my favorite. Listen to both tracks below.
