MF DOOM Gets Animated In New Video For A State Of Mind's "Masking"
Though an in-the-flesh appearance has yet to be seen this year, MF DOOM's occupying plenty of sonic space in 2015. He's assisted Madlib, Blu & MED on their lead-off Bad Neighbor single "Knock Knock," touched cuts from BADBADNOTGOOD, Cannibal Ox and a grip of the underground's finest, even performing alongside brother in rhyme Ghostface Killah (sort of) in Miami this past weekend. Today, with the release of their sophomore record The Jade Amulet, duo A State Of Mind has relinquished a treat of unfathomable proportions; a clip for their own lead-off single "Masking" featuring an animated version of the masked-one himself ruling as King Dumile ruling with an iron fist. DOOM, in true fashion, slays the cut, delivering a classic performance that perfectly falls into the epic narrative ASM brings to the plate.
