Rapper and entrepreneur Nipsey Hussle was killed in a shooting inthe Hyde Parkneighborhood of Los Angeles on Sunday, March 31st. The store is located minutes away from Crenshaw, theneighborhood he grew up.
Nipsey,who was one of three people who got shot, was only 33 at the time of his death. He was young, but it's clear that the rapper left a huge impact on hip-hop and the Los Angeles community. Moments after NBC News announcedthat Nipsey didn't survive the shooting, members of the hip-hop communitystarted to send theircondolencesonline. Everyone from Lupe Fiasco to Chance The Rapper to Pharrell sent theirlove to the slain rapper.
