Update three: Fans mourn the untimely death of Nipsey Hussle. After the rapper was shot and killed outside his LA store on Sunday, throngs of people gathered at the scene of the crime to pay tribute to the slain artist’s music and community service.
LAPD released a statement on Twitter describing the suspect solely as a black man. A homicide investigation is in progress.
UPDATE: The suspect in the shooting is described as a male black & LAPD South Bureau Homicide is conducting an investigation to locate him and anyone else involved. You can expect the area of Slauson & Crenshaw to be impacted by streets closures & heavy traffic for several hours.

Update two: NBC is reporting that Nipsey Hussle has been killed, after being shot multiple times outside of his clothing store in Hyde Park, just minutes away from where he grew up.

Update: According to police sources TMZ talked to, three people were shot at Nipsey’s store. One of those people has died at the hospital. It’s still unclear if that person was Nipsey.
LAPD confirms to ABC’s Alex Stone they responded to Nipsey Hussle’s Marathon Clothing store at 3:20pm PT. 3 people shot. All were transported. One has died. Two are in stable condition. The suspect fled from the scene.

Nipsey Hussle was shot in Los Angeles, according to TMZ and numerous online reports.
According to TMZ, the rapper was in front of his clothing store Marathon Clothing Company in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Los Angeles. The store is located minutes away from Crenshaw, the neighborhood he grew up.
There are numerous tweets featuring photos and videos from the scene. The tweet suggests that the rapper was shot multiple times.
