J. Cole, Dreamville Records and more return to Dorothea Dix Park in Raleigh on April 2nd-3rd for the Dreamville Festival 2022.

The two-year hiatus for Dreamville Festival is over. J. Cole and Dreamville Records have revealed the lineup for their second music festival which will be held at Dorothea Dix Park in Raleigh from April 2nd-3rd.

Despite cancelling their 2020 festival because of the pandemic, Cole has returned and is bringing a massive lineup with him. Day 1 on Saturday will be headlined by Lil Baby, with performances from WizKid, Kehlani, Morray, Fivio Foreign and more.

Day 2 on Sunday will have the first-ever performance of DJ Drama’s Gangsta Grillz mixtape series featuring Lil Wayne, Jeezy and T.I., while Ari Lennox, Moneybagg Yo, Bia, Rico Nasty, Wale, and Larry June are slated to perform. A headlining set from J. Cole will close out the 2022 festival.

Also a Dreamville Records reunion, the festival will include the Dreamville Records roster, with Ari Lennox, Bas, J.I.D, EarthGang, Cozz, Omen, and Lute. For fans looking for Y2K nostalgia, Ja Rule and Ashanti will have an on-stage reunion, and T-Pain will also perform.

The inaugural Dreamville Festival was held in 2019, where a crowd of 40,000 were treated with appearances from SZA, Teyana Taylor, 6lack, Big Sean, Nelly and more. Held in April of that year, the festival was postponed from its original September 2018 date due to Hurricane Florence. The festival was largely dedicated to Nipsey Hussle as nearly every act acknowledged his untimely death.

Last year, Cole released his sixth album The Off-Season. For the 64th Annual Grammy Awards, he’s nominated for four  categories: Best Album (The Off-Season); Best Melodic Rap Performance (“p r i d e . i s . t h e . d e v i l”); Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song (“m y . l i f e”).

Beginning at $249.99 for admission to both days of the festival, tickets for Dreamville Festival 2022 are on sale now.
