Update: DJ Premier has announced that he is releasing a new Gang Starr single.

On Wednesday we got a hint about what he might be talking about.

DJ Premier posted a video on his Instagram. The caption read "I Gotta Call @Nas." And the video features a phone and message from Nas himself. In it, Nas said “Yo Premier, what up man, it’s your man Nas...Is it true there’s a new Gang Starr album?"

Guru, who was one half of Gang Starr, died in 2010. Before that, we hadn't seen an official Gang Starr album since The Ownerz in 2003.
