The Black Eyed Peas are back with a not-so-new sound, bringing on classic ’90s hip-hop vibes with their latest song “Constant Part 1&2” featuring the one and only Slick Rick.
Group frontman, Will.i.am posted a clip of the video on his Instagram, writing, “back on that 90s shit.” He also shouted out The Ruler, who makes a subtle cameo in the song and video (can’t go wrong with a “To the tick tick you don’t stop” adlib).
The Black Eyed Peas had taken a hiatus back in 2011. In 2017, they announced that singer,Fergie would be taking a break from the group to work on her sophomore solo album Double Dutchess while they’d work on their graphic novel “Masters of the Sun.”
It looks like the group is back on the road performing with a new singer named Jessica Rey at the moment.
