We are about a month away from the release of Anderson .Paak’s new album, Ventura. And now we’re finally able to hear some new music. Anderson .Paak has just dropped Ventura’s first single. The song is called “King James” and it features the classic feel-good groove that was prominent on .Paak’s last album, Oxnard.
With the release of the new song, .Paak released the tracklist for the album. Ventura has 11 tracks and features appearances from André 3000, Smokey Robinson, Brandy, Nate Dogg, and more. On the production side, .Paak is again working with Dr. Dre. (Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like Madlib will be on the album.)
