This weekend marks the 25th anniversary of Raekwon‘s debut album, Only Built 4 Cuban Linx. In honor of the milestone, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, and Nas will join Ebro Darden and Apple Music for a special conversation.

Ghost, Rae and Ebro take a trip down memory lane, recalling everything from coming up with the title to its creation.

“That mission was do or die,” Rae says of his motivations. “To try to get from one spot to the next, and do it in a way that it could be respected, and not just took for something that didn’t really mean nothing to us. You got some dudes that got a lot to say, but don’t really be passionate about what they feel, and where they want to go in life…When I made my solo album, I wanted to be one of the greats.”

Raekwon announced he’d be releasing a two-disc vinyl album of the OB4CL instrumentals on Thursday. In addition to the interview with Ebro, Rae and Ghost will hop on Instagram live to discuss the album on Friday.

With Ebro, Ghostface discussed how his bond with Rae developed.

“Me and Rae, for some reason, when we came together on this music shit, it was like I don’t know, it just fit right in,” he said. “Like I seen his mind. And a lot of the way that Rae think, is like I see it. We kind of think alike. You can’t really get nothing past us, we know when you’re trying to G us, we know the slicksters. We like a lot of the same fashion, so it was just like if I was living that way he was living that, I could see myself hanging with him. You know what I mean?”Stream clips from the interview on Apple Music.
