Nas Scores His 14th Top 10 Billboard Appearance With 'King's Disease'

The new Nas album debuted at No. 5 on the latest Billboard charts.

This week's edition of the Billboard charts have arrived, and Nas made the highest debut with King's Disease. The project hit the number five spot on the Billboard 200, moving 47,000 equivalent album units. The album earned an equivalent of over 36 million on-demand streams.

The album is Nas' 14th top ten album. It Was Written was his first entry, spending four weeks at the top spot in 1996.

Pop Smoke's Shoot for the StarsAim for the Moon held steady at the number two spot with 83,000 equivalent album units. Lil Baby's My Turn rose to number six, while the deluxe version of Rod Wave's Pray 4 Love dropped from six to seven. Juice WRLD's Legends Never Die stayed put at number three with 70,000 units.

Nas released King's Disease via Mass Appeal and Universal Music Group. The only non-UMG album in the top 10 is the Hamilton cast recording, released via Hamilton Uptown, Atlantic, and Warner Music's WEA.

Taylor Swift's Folklore held down the top spot for the fifth straight week. That number ties Lil Baby for the most weeks atop the list in 2020. Swift's album is the first to hold the top spot for five consecutive weeks since Drake's Scorpion album held the top spot from July 14 to August 11, 2018. Should Folklore spend another week at the top spot, it would be the first album to spend six consecutive weeks at the top spot since Drake's Views, which spent nine weeks at number one.
