Ye, the artist formerly known as Kanye West, has reportedly filed multiple trademarks for products and services under his 'Yeezus' moniker.

After taking a stance against NFTs, Ye, the artist formerly known as Kanye West, has given in. On Wednesday, Fortune reported that West has filed for up to 17 new trademark applications under his 'Yeezus' moniker. The article explains that on May 27, West filed trademark applications with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) for “blockchain-based currencies and non-fungible tokens," "physical and online retail stores," "toys games and sporting equipment" and even amusement parks.

In February, West went to Instagram and denounced NFTs. “Do not ask me to do a f****** NFT,” he wrote. “My focus is on building real products in the real world." The rapper-producer also suggested that he might dabble in the blockchain world, saying “ask me [about NFTs] later.”

Along with his new trademark venture, West is steadily building a roster for his DONDA SPORTS agency, partnering with former NFL player Antonio Brown, along with signing three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year and Los Angeles Rams player Aaron Donald and 2021 NBA All-Star Jaylen Brown.

"People have concerns or critiques, etc., but in the world we live in, there's concerns and critiques in any and everything," Jaylen Brown told ESPN a day before the Game 1 of the NBA Finals about signing to DONDA SPORTS. "I feel like this is a good moment for me in my particular life. I'm excited to build and create and do things that I've always imagined I wanted to do on the court and off."

'Yeezus' is the title of West's sixth studio album released in 2013, which debuted at No. 1 on the US Billboard 200, selling  327,000 copies in its first week.
