Kanye West Tweeted His Entire Record Contract, Along With Bizarre Grammy Video

Kanye West continues his campaign against major record labels.

Kanye West has been active on Twitter once again. Earlier this week, he denounced the contracts being provided by Sony and Universal Music Group, comparing himself to Moses in the process. On Wednesday, he posted another stream of consciousness, as well as screenshots of the full terms of his recording contracts. Unfortunately for readers, the tweet-storm ended with a more literal stream.

“Trust me,” he wrote along with the video. (Click the link at your own discretion.) “I won’t stop.”

Before posting the video, Kanye called on fellow musicians for support. “Bono can I get a retweet,” he wrote. “Love you Paul can I get a retweet. Love you Drake, Kendrick [Lamar], even Taylor [Swift]. We need you right now.”

Kanye also posted Hit-Boy‘s Instagram post, which explained his issues with Kanye, but also agreed with West’s accusations of Universal offering predatory publishing deals.

“This tweet is something I can agree with,” Hit-Boy wrote. “[Universal] has held me in what the last three lawyers I’ve hired have referred to as the “worst publishing contact they’ve ever seen” since I was 19 years old…[Universal] doesn’t have it in them to simply be fair. If they’re doing this to me with all I’ve accomplished…I can only imagine the kids who don’t have big placements/proper guidance. If I have to be the one to get blackballed for telling the truth and trying to set the next generation free then so be it.”

On Tuesday, Kanye made headlines when he called the music industry and National Basketball Association “modern day slave ships.”
