A Green Twins standout gets tuned to the key of Eddie Hazel

Ahead of a lengthy new leg to his tour in support of Green Twins, Nick Hakim has shared a remix of the album cut "Cuffed" from British soul vet Jamie Lidell.

Against a temperate, yet driving shuffle, Lidell's flip injects the cut with a touch of fuzz and phased six-strings weeping just below Hakim's own haunts (courtesy of NYC ax-man, Marcus Machado.) High-octane electric soul with all of the requisite bite. On the opportunity to add his touch to the track the "What's The Use" singer professed, "I actually pestered Nick to remix a song. Thankfully he said yes."
