JAŸ-Z is hitting the stage this summer in New York City. The legendary rapper has announced performance dates in July at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx. The shows are in recognition of major anniversaries for two of his most critically acclaimed albums and will take place on two consecutive nights this summer. July 10 is dedicated to Reasonable Doubt, while July 11 is dedicated to The Blueprint.
Released in 1996, Reasonable Doubt is JAŸ-Z ’s debut studio album, announcing the Brooklyn rapper as a major force in East Coast hip-hop of the period. It included classic tracks like “Can’t Knock the Hustle,” “Can I Live” and “Dead Presidents, Pt. II.” Five years later, The Blueprint cemented Hov’s rise to hip-hop’s upper echelons and heralded the emergence of Kanye West as a hitmaking producer.
