Snoop Dogg Takes The Tonight Show By Storm, Performs "So Many Pros" w/ The Roots

The LBC doggfather himself, Snoop Dogg, took over the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last night, partaking in some uproarious sketch comedy and, later, taking the stage to perform "So Many Pros" off his funky just-dropped LP Bush. To begin, Snoop accompanied Jimmy in a set-up entitled "Real People, Fake Arms," a supposed throwback to their days working on a (made-up) Canadian soap opera, one in which Snoop refused to use his own appendages while on set.

"He demanded fake arms, like mannequin arms," Jimmy joked, "And to make him feel more comfortable, the director made everyone use fake arms. I have to say it was pretty inconvenient." From there, footage of Jacob's Patience rolled and the entire world was treated to a vision of Snoop Dogg fake-man-handling cupcakes and making cookies from scratch. "All you gotta do now is set the oven to 420, and bake," Snoop assures. From there things get a bit out of hand, but all is resolved when green substance starts burning and Snoop raps "Who Am I." Later, Mr. Dogg took a seat beside Jimmy as a bonafide interview guest--a discussion that included talks of Willie Nelson, fried chicken and the question "Do your grandkids call you 'Granddogg'?"

But the real sweetness came a little later, when Snoop returned to perform his recent single "So Many Pros" with a little help from (who else?) The Roots. With Questlove holding down the backbeat, the rendition was another sparse but funky outcropping of Bush. Watch "So Many Pros," along with the rest of the Snoop comedy below.
