Pyramid Vritra
Emcee/producer, Pyramid Vritra, of Jet Age of Tomorrow/Odd Future fame, has plans of releasing his official debut, Indra, on February 18th via Stones Throw. I got my hands on an early copy last week, and I've been bumping it non-stop ever since. JAOT been had hits, and this young brother clearly can hold his own outside of that umbrella, as well. Today, we get a sample of the album with the release of the track, "Eleven12." If the song sounds at all familiar, Vritra breaks down why: "The song started off as a remix to china white by ommas keith, I got frustrated with trying to match up the vocals, abandoned that idea, altered the beat a bit, slowed it down and wrote and recorded it and the result was eleven12."
