Pete Rock, long heralded as king of the remix, has lent his is distinctive touch of boom-bap brilliance to countless cuts, both conventional and otherwise. Here's a taste of what he can do with the latter, bringing his patented, vintage drum-breaking styles to Panda Bear's dreamy, psych-pop wizardry, resulting in a fairly potent blend that should have your head knocking in all of the appropriate ways. The track comes to us from Panda Bear's forthcoming PBVSGR remix EP out on June 30th via Domino Records, but you can get a taste by streaming it down below.
