Bloc Party Frontman Kele Okereke Preps Fans For The Forthcoming 'TRICK' Solo LP With New Single "Coasting."
Bloc Party's Kele Okereke returns with the new single "Coasting" - the latest track from his forthcoming solo album entitled TRICK. The track is a beastly percussive production anchored by lyrics that play like a candid love letter. Kele explains the crux of the track - at once dark, precarious and curiously warm - in a note tacked onto his Facebook page:
“‘Coasting’ is, in fact, ‘the story about the first moments of a relationship, when there is no pressure and no demands.’”
The track arrives ahead of the album's scheduled October 13th release via Lilac Records. "Coasting" is the latest from the project since the release of Kele's single "Doubt."
