De La Soul, Joey Bada$$, DJ Premier & More To Perform At J Dilla Weekend In Miami
Mark your calendars, dear donut lovers. Miami's installment of J Dilla weekend is quickly approaching and aligning many of the stars that have been touched by the gawd in one potent and proper bill. This year's line-up includes a rare performance from De La Soul, as well as Slum Village, 9th Wonder,DJ Premier, Joey Bada$$ & Pro Era, Rapsody, Blu & Exile, Diamond D and A.G., with more to be announced in the weeks ahead.
The event will be hosted by the one and only Ma Dukes (yes, that's Dilla's real-life mother) and the performances will take place over the weekend of February 5th-7th, which will align perfectly with what would have been the legend's 42nd birthday. There will also be panel discussions, exhibits and a record exchange powered by Discogs, for the crate-digging community.
