Blagga! New noise from Santigold is always welcome and this one shows why she is the Queen of Something. A certain something. Used to be she showed her range with tracks that were more rappy, or more dubby, or more punky/new wavey but if this is any indication, she is just going to be everything all the time in a dubby, rappy punk ethos that is all her own sub-genre: Santi-town music. It might even be something that could unite the infinitely sub-divided and #hashtagged tastes of 2012′s “Disparate Youth.” This drops to iTunes tomorrow and presumably will be included on her forthcoming full-length Master of My Make-Believe.
