Open Mike Eagle and Roots Picnic show-stealer Danny Brown jump on an okayfuturistic beat to express their cartoon terrorist sides on "Cobra Commander." The pitched-down Detroit ghettotech feel of the track feels right at home under Danny (no XXX) and brings out an almost Big Sean-like flow out of Open Mike's L.A. via Chicago hood-drawl, splicing those strands of audio-DNA together into a universal jeep-beat like a rap Serpentor. (See? What I did there?). This is off OME's forthcoming 4NML HSPTL album, which drops on June 26. Look for it.
