Oh, the beauties of Soundcloud. Though it can be annoying at times when the song you were bumping on SC ends and you are randomly thrown to some other artist's work on auto play, every now and then a jewel pops up. This would be how I first heard the music of Chicago artist AJ Peace, the other day. I was thrown to one of her songs, which made me look her up and find that she had just recently dropped an EP entitled, A Joke. The project is only 4 tracks and about 10 minutes long, but I've had it on repeat since (having two Sango beats definitely helps). However, the Roman Flowrs produced "I'm Different" is what really grabbed me (followed by the Badu sampled "Everytime"). As I said, it's only 10 minutes long, so go ahead and give her a listen (and find out more about this emerging talent out of the Chi here and here).
