Watch Billy Dee Williams & Carrie Fisher Return in the First Trailer for 'Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker'

Lando was the star of the first Episode IX trailer.

The teaser trailer for Star Wars: Episode IX was revealed on Friday morning (April 12th.) The trailer was premiered at the Star Wars Celebration in Chicago.

Also revealed was the title of the upcoming movie: The Rise of Skywalker:

The trailer features a ton of recognizable faces: Kylo (Adam Driver), Rey (Daisy Ridley), Finn (John Boyega). The biggest surprises came from the appearance of Carrie Fisher, who plays Princess Leia, and Billy Dee Williams, who plays the iconic character Lando Calrissian.

Williams was at the Star Wars event, and he greeted the crowd. He said: “How did I find Lando again? Lando never left me.”

Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker, directed by J.J. Abrams, comes out on Christmas. Check out the trailer below.
