Big Boi and Sleepy Brown have shared a song from their upcoming collaborative album The Big Sleepover. Titled "Intentions," the upbeat funk track also features CeeLo Green.
The pair shared the music video for the track via Rolling Stone, with the almost four-minute long video finding Big Boi and Sleepy Brown being invited to a lavish party that happens to be at 6969 Peach Tree St.
"We wanna make ya feel good," Big Boi said to Rolling Stone about the song. "The Big Sleep is over. This is the Evolution of Daddy Fat Saxxx and Sleepy Brown, Good Vibrations Only!"
The pair decided to make a project together after reuniting as a part of a tour they did alongside other members of the Dungeon Family this past spring.
"We developed this sound together," Sleepy Brown said in a statement. "We love that funk era, but also changing with the times. We wanted something upbeat and danceable, so we sped it up. I bring that smoothness, the butter on the popcorn."
During an appearance on The Breakfast Club, the rapper said that it all began with his son FaceTiming him.
“He was like ‘I thought something happened to you…you’re trending on Twitter,'” Big Boi recounted. “…Some white b**ch had said something, they killing that broad.”
Big Boi’s son was referring to YesJulz, who tweeted on Tuesday that “Earthgang is like the OutKast of this generation only with two Andre’s.”
