Missy Elliott hit the VMAs stage for the first time in more than 15 years.

Well, that was amazing.

Hip-hop legend Missy Elliott received the MTV Video Vanguard Award at the 2019 VMAs. Before she went on stage and accepted her award, she did a melody of her greatest hits from “The Rain (Supa Dupa Fly),” “Get Ur Freak On,” “Lose Control,” “Hot Boyz,” and more. (A really cool moment came when Alyson Stoner, the dancer in the “Lose Control” video, came out and danced.)
