Royce and J.Cole make a great duo

On May 4th, Detroit rapper Royce da 5'9 will release his new album Book of Ryan. The album will be the rapper's first solo release since his 2016 LP, Layers.

The first single from that album is the J.Cole-featured single "Boblo Boat." The song, which was produced by Cool & Dre and 808-Ray, sprung a leak a couple of weeks back. It was then officially released last Friday. On Monday, Complex premiered the video for the soulful track.

The video, which was directed by Cole himself, features an appearance from Cedric the Entertainer, who plays a security guard.
