Watch Common Kick a Freestyle on the Streets w/ Local New Orleans Rapper
Never forget: Common loves to rap.
Later this summer, Common will release Let Love Have the Last Word, the first solo album from the rapper in almost three years. (Since he releasedBlack America Again in 2016.)
So that means the rapper is in promo mode. He was recently in New Orleans for Essence Fest 2019.

While there, Baller Alert caught some really cool footage of Common watching a local New Orleans rapper named Ray Wimley freestyle on the streets. In the middle of the freestyle, Common grabbed the mic and started freestyling himself.

As the video started spreading around, many on social media were sending props to Common.
