NEW ALBUMS

YG - ‘THE GENTLEMEN'S CLUB’

YG is back, and he’s on one. The Compton rapper is clearly entering a new space as an artist. His new album speaks to growth – while still giving you that West Coast street rap that made him famous.

BIG FREEDIA & SOPHIE - ‘RELEASED AT LAST’ (EP)

The New Orleans bounce legend pays homage to the late hyperpop visionary, and the results are memorable. Most of the songs were culled from sessions of SOPHIE, recorded back in 2016.

CHLÖE & TIMBALAND - ‘RESURRECTION’ (MIXTAPE)

The R&B singer-songwriter has never been afraid to take musical risks – and other kinds of risks – and she swings for the fences on this new mixtape collaboration with Timbaland.

KEY GLOCK - ‘PROJECT X’

The Memphis product made his bones in his hometown and he’s steeped in his city’s rap traditions. It’s clear that he wants to stretch his sound without completely moving away from the trap music that made him famous.

MYLES SMITH - ‘MY MESS, MY HEART, MY LIFE’

The  British singer-songwriter blends folk, pop, and electropop, combining vulnerable lyricism about his upbringing and mental health with his signature rousing vocals. For a debut album, it’s undeniably ambitious.

COCHISE - ‘TRENCH TOWN’ (MIXTAPE)

His Jamaican roots sit front and center in his approach, and his unique flow and vibrant anime references have become trademarks. The Florida rapper floors it with no brakes on this high-energy mixtape.

D12 - ‘D12 FOREVER, VOL. 1’

Kuniva and Swifty have held down the fort and kept the name alive. The crew out of Detroit is still making inspired music and this new project includes features by Method Man and Xzibit.

EVILGIANE - ‘HEAVENSGATE VOL. 2' (MIXTAPE)

The long-awaited tape, and follow-up to his 2024 release, #HEAVENSGATE,  features tracks from an eclectic, all-star guest list from all quadrants of Giane's Rolodex — including Rico Nasty, Xaviersobased, Cash Cobain and more.

The rapper out of Detroit and the producer from Montreal have long established themselves as one of music’s most formidable and consistent duos. The duo’s sixth project continues their critically acclaimed, unapologetically underground partnership.

TANA - ‘ME’

The artist’s indie Atlanta roots are still present, but he has evolved his sound from the early SoundCloud/hyperpop era into a staple of the "New Atlanta" movement. His production talents are consistently noteworthy.

THE WAR AND TREATY - ‘THE STORY OF MICHAEL AND TANYA’

The husband and wife duo has been one of the most talked-about acts in Americana/country for a while now, and for good reason. Their latest highlights their polished craftsmanship while allowing the pair to push forward.

AZIEDOESNTEXIST - ‘STRINGS ATTACHED’

The Atlanta-based artist blends melodic rap with influences from alternative and throwback grunge rock on her debut. Her aesthetic defies comparison, pairing raw energy with introspective, vulnerable lyrics and genre-bending production.

FLYANA BOSS - ‘UNDER THE INFLUENCE’ EP

It taps into the carefree spirit of 2000s party culture. Eight tracks of infectious energy, unapologetic confidence, and genre-bending creativity that further cement Bobbi and Folayan as one of music's most exciting rising acts.

LEE LEWIS - 'HOWL' (EP)

Vintage soul, R&B, trip-hop and pop-infused soundwaves. Lewis channels lived experience into songs defined by vulnerability and emotional depth, emerging as a release of long-held tension and turmoil as he opens himself to a world of new standards and possibilities.

P.J. MORTON - ‘SATURDAY NIGHT, SUNDAY MORNING’

He’s been one of the most accomplished singer-songwriters in R&B and gospel, both, for quite a while now. But now we get both sides of PJ Morton’s acclaimed career on one project. He melds the secular with the sacred on this highly anticipated release.
