Watch Nas & Russell Westbrook Celebrate Paul George Resigning with the Oklahoma City Thunder

Nas was in Oklahoma City to celebrate Paul George’s next move
July 1st was the first day of NBA free agency. The first big move occurred at midnight: Paul George decided to re-join the Oklahoma City Thunder, re-upping with the team for five years $137 million.
The move wasn’t a surprise. The day before, June 30th, news came out that teammate Russell Westbrook was throwing a big party in Oklahoma City during the first minutes of free agency, and Paul George was flying in to attend.

Videos of the event hit the net. And it looked sensational. In attendance was rapper Nas, who actually performed at the event, and LeBron James.
Here are some highlights from the event:

After the event, George posted a pic with Westbrook with the caption “Unfinished Business.”
One person missing: Carmelo Anthony who opted in but was not in attendance at the party.
The fact that Melo is a big Nas fan & wasn’t on stage puffing cigars with Paul & Russ in OKC kind of removes the mystery about his future with the Thunder. OKC saves a fortune by cutting ties with him. Makes a ton of sense – for both sides – to move on.
