ScHoolboy Q has taken his health and fitness seriously. The Cali-born rhymer has notably slimmed down and toned up over the years, but he took exception recently after some observers began assuming that he was taking Ozempic. The popular weight loss drug has become a favorite tool for many people to slim down — but Q says this is not that.
The “Hands On the Wheel” rapper actually took offense at the assumption.
“Motherf–kers said I was on Ozempic, bro… I’ve never been more offended in my life,” he said in a clip posted online. “Y’all got me f–ked up.”
To make sure everyone understood his work ethic, Q shared a quick glimpse into his workout routine. His go-tos include shoulder raises with two kettlebells and mountain climbers.
He posted another video of him doing deadlifts with heavy dumbbells. Q revealed that he works out at the gym six days a week, primarily doing full-body workouts.
Q’s wellness journey began years ago. He has also become an avid golfer in recent years and he has addressed the drug and alcohol abuse of his younger years. He weighed over 250 pounds in 2019 and realized he had to make lifestyle changes.
ScHoolboy Q spoke about his wake up call during his 2019 conversation with Charlamagne Tha God.
“I was drinking so much lean, I was on so many pills bruh…” he told Charlamagne. “The whole [Oxymoron] session … I don’t have one memory from that.
"I was a f**kin' dopehead that was telling you I sold dope. That was the oxymoron."
