Copwatch focuses on people responsible for recording police killings of black people, specifically Ramsey Orta and Kevin Moore, who documented the killing and arrest of Eric Garner and Freddie Gray, respectively.
A trailer of the film was released today via The Root. The minute-long clip finds Orta briefly speaking on the aftermath of Garner's death and how he has allegedly been harassed by New York Police Department police officers for recording Garner's death.
"I got nine videos...they using them against me in court. My video don't count for no indictment," Orta says.

"Would you want to do it over again," asks Kevin Moore, an activist who filmed Freddie Gray's brutal beating in Baltimore, Maryland.
"It's hard though to make that decision," Orta responds.
Aside from Orta and Moore, Copwatch also focuses on David Whitt, who aside from filming the aftermath of Brown's death is a co-founder of WeCopWatch — an organization that equips and teaches people how to lawfully record the police, as well as Kevin Moore, who witnessed and recorded the arrest of his friend and neighbor, Freddie Gray. The three are brought together by WeCopWatch co-founder Jacob Crawford and the film is directed by Camilla Hall.
