The 2026 Roots Picnic is going to be the festival event of the year. Hosted by The Roots, this year’s festival will take place May 30 and 31 at Belmont Plateau in the band’s hometown of Philadelphia.

JAŸ-Z and Erykah Badu are among this year’s headliners; with Kehlani, Brandy, and T.I., as well as Mariah the Scientist, J. Period’s Live Mixtape featuring Black Thought & Wale, and Jermaine Dupri and Friends filling out the remaining headlining slot.

Founded in 2008, The Roots Picnic celebrates hip-hop and R&B’s culture and heritage. Here’s how you can go:
