Ghostface Killah is back with a vengeance on this first leak from the highly-anticipated Adrian Younge-produced albums Twelve Reasons To Die. The single "The Rise Of The Ghostface Killah" packs all the dirty drum hits and scary feedback you expect from the Shaolin Temple but Adrian Younge brings a haunting pop melodic sense that pushes this track to another level, uh, chamber. Even while 'Face is talking "murder, murder, murder / kill, kill, kill" this groove has me picturing a harem of Vampyros Lesbos standing behind Tony Starks whispering "Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill!" even as they snuggle into their borrowed TROOP bathrobes.
