TLC Performs "What About Your Friends" + More At VH1's Super Bowl Blitz
TLC performed a string of r&b hits to a packed house at the Beacon Theatre in New York City on Thursday at VH1‘s Super Bowl Blitz concert series ahead of Super Bowl XLVIII. The massive performance follows a banner year for the group in 2013 as they returned to the fore just prior to the debut of Crazy Sexy Cool: The TLC Story – the network’s biopic directed by Charles Stone III. TLC headlined yesterday’s festivities alongside Band Of Horses. They rolled out a steady stream of classics for the crowd including “What About Your Friends”, “Hat 2 Da Back”, “No Scrubs”, “Creep” and more. Ballerina Misty Copeland even hit the stage to help them pay tribute to Left Eye during a performance of “Waterfalls.” TLC closed the show with “Meant To Be” – the original new track from their 20 LP.
