Speaking to Clash, Hugo shared that The Neptunes have been working with The Weeknd, Lil Nas X and other artists.

"We’re doing a couple of things," Hugo said about The Neptunes. "There’s a videogame soundtrack that’s in the works right now that I can’t speak about, I’m not supposed to, but uh, it’s in the works right now. We just did some work with Miley Cyrus, Jay-Z, Blink 182, Lil Uzi Vert, Brandy, Ray-J, Snoh Alegra, G-Eazy…"

Hugo also revealed that Pharrell is working on a new record, and described it as "real island-like and different."

Back in April last year, Hugo received the key to the city of Virginia Beach at his and Pharrell’s alma mater, Princess Anne High School, by Virginia Beach mayor Robert M. “Bobby” Dyer.

“The story of how Chad came to be one of the most sought after and accomplished music producers of his generation is a testament to ‘doing what you love,'” Dyer said. “His lifelong love of music, making beats, and creating unique song tracks has fueled his passion… and left his indelible mark in the musical history books through a string of hip hop, rock and pop songs.”
