On Thursday, April 12, 2019, four people in the Watts area of Los Angeles, California were shot following the funeral procession for Nipsey Hussle. At the moment, the violence is not thought to be linked to the rapper's memorial.
The affected individuals were three black men and one black woman, all ranging in age from 30 to 50 years old, according to the Los Angeles Times. One person has died from their sustained injuries.

Los Angeles Police Chief Michel Moore provided details of the incident on Twitter late Thursday evening, concluding by saying, "we must stop this senseless violence."
\u201cIn the midst of this procession we have a multi-4 Shooting at 103 St and Main St. \n\nVictims are 3 Male Blacks and 1 Female Black - ages from 30-50 years old. Hussle was killed on March 31 in front of his Marathon Clothing store.
Tens of thousands took to the streets during Hussle's funeral procession to pay their respects, and thousands more watched the live-streamed memorial online.
