UPDATE: Denver officials have released an ambiguous statement to the effect that shots fired at a van containing Schoolboy Q after a Red Rocks show with Nas were "targeted." As reported by hypetrak, a representative of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office gave the following quote regarding the incident:

“This is not just a coincidence. We think there is probably more to it than that. It does seem to be more targeted than random."

Hardly a conspiracy theory but ominous nonetheless. We'll keep you posted on details and hope Q keeps his head down.

Schoolboy Q felt the strong arm of the law last night as he was detained after being targeted in a parking lot shooting following his show with Nas and Flying Lotus at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Denver. Contrary to grapevine chatter, the West Coast MC was not arrested, but following the incident -- which injured 3 others in the SUV Q was riding in -- he was taken in for questioning in a sweep of the parking lot. The suspected shooter reportedly dipped off into the brush immediately following the incident and has yet to be identified. The investigation is ongoing and we will be sure to give you the latest as details roll-out. In the meantime, take Q's own words to heart :
