Sango Drops New Joints With Joose & Waldo For AGO

Lenny Kravitz, Grace Jones, Lauryn Hill, Lion Babe, Thundercat, SZA & More Rock The Afropunk Festival 2015 in Brooklyn, NY.

Sango teams with Joose and Waldo to drop two blazing new tracks on behalf of their Grand Rapids collective AGO Music. "Reggie Miller" chops and slightly screws what sounds like a sample from the Robert Glasper Experiment's "Black Radio" - the title track from Glasper's LP of the same name featuring Yasiin Bey. "Royal Oats" is a joint that follows in the time-honored tradition of sped-up samples popularized around the advent of Kanye's College Dropout. Joose provides the lyrics for "Reggie Miller", while Waldo handles the mic on "Royal Oats." Both heaters with heavy lyrics, these tracks will leave you wanting a full project from Sango and the rest of the folks in the AGO family. Thankfully that might not be too difficult or too far off, considering their prior affiliation. Check the tracks below to listen to "Royal Oats" and "Reggie Miller." Stay tuned for more from the super-prolific Sango.
